I am the owner of Zatsick's Golden Dawn in Conneaut Lake, PA. It is a full-line Supermarket. The water has a lot of hardness and calcium to it. In my Baby Dept., we have a Proof Box that has two heating elements. I seemed to be replacing one every 7 weeks due to calcium build-up that would put a hole through the elements. The elements cost $200 a piece which is very costly. I contacted Ed from Luminous Water Solutions to have my water tested. He said that he could solve my problem, so I had the Kinetico System installed on January 30th, 2009. and I have seen immediate results. It is now a year later and no elements have been replaced. The water in the Proof Box pan is crystal clear with no calcium build-up. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this system.

Laundry comes out softer and cleaner without using extra products.
Our hair, skin, and nails are not dry. Skin is especially softer, even in dry weather when the furnace runs more frequently. My hands used to crack and be so dry, but now are soft and easy to keep that way. Hair is also soft and shiny.
Soap scum has disappeared in our tub and sinks.
Our fixtures (i.e. sink faucets, tub faucets) used to corrode with the hardness of the water. They are not only in wonderful shape, they look brand new.

The Kinetico system has taken out all the rust from the water. My sinks, toilets, and tubs are losing the rust coloration. The softener helps with the amount of detergent, shampoo, and soap I use. The ice and water that I drink and give to my pets is superb. I have only had the Kinetico system for a week and I've already noticed the difference.
