Lead Removal Whole Home Water System

Product Description

If you're looking for a whole house water purification system that removes lead, look no further. Our 3-stage filtration process uses a 20" sediment cartridge to remove sediment, silt, sand and dirt; a Lead Selective media (dual tank for 12-18 GPM systems) to remove lead; and a 20" solid carbon cartridge to remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.

Lead (Pb) is a soft metal that is used in a large amount of commercial applications, but it can easily leach into drinking water. Unfortunately, as late as 1986 it was used everywhere to deliver drinking water, like lead pipes, fixtures and solder. Once dissolved in water, lead is odorless, tasteless and colorless and is very hard to detect in water.

In order to select the right whole home lead removal system for your needs, you need to consider maximum / peak flow that system should be designed for. If you have a high-flow application—like an oversized hot tub or swimming pool—you'll need to make sure that any filter system you choose has enough capacity to filter all of the water at once without slowing down or causing problems with its components.

Poly Glass™ mineral tank (fiberglass) is also backed by a 10 year manufacturer warranty. Our Fleck 5600 automatic backwash controller has an LED display and comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty. And our self-backwashing system means you'll never have to worry about replacing your ion exchange resin media—it's automatically regenerated with salt (sodium or potassium for salt-free operation), keeping things running smoothly for years at a time!
