KEEP YOUR WATER CLEANER - The nominal 5 micron spun-bonded polypropylene media reduces dirt, sand, silt, scale, and rust particles, helping keep your water cleaner and helping protect appliances, plumbing, and downstream filters.
TRUE GRADIENT DENSITY - Pure 100% polypropylene fibers are spun into a true gradient density from the outer to inner surfaces, trapping larger particles outside and finer particles deeper for high dirt-holding capacity.
NSF CERTIFIED MATERIALS - Tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements; the pure polypropylene construction will not impart taste, odor, or color to filtered water.
FITS ALL 20-INCH STANDARD HOUSINGS - This drop-in 20" x 2.5" cartridge fits standard 20-inch housings and works with both municipal chlorinated and well non-chlorinated water supplies.
LOW PRESSURE DROP DESIGN - Initial pressure drop is just 0.6 psi at 10 gpm across a 40 to 145 degrees F range; replace the cartridge when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.
