[KDF Water Filter] SimPure's GAC/KDF filters use an optimal blend of coconut shell activated carbon granules and copper-zinc alloys as the primary filtering materials. This ensures maximum removal of ions such as iron, lead, mercury, residual chlorine, and odors. When installing the KDF filter, make sure the cover with more holes faces downward.

[Fits Standard 10" Water Systems and Housings] In addition to being the original replacement filter for SimPure DB10C-2KDF, DB10P, and DB10C housings, it is also compatible with most 10x4.5 inch whole house water filters and housings including but not limited to GE GXWH35F, GXWH40L, HB18B, WGB21B, American Plumber W15-PR, W10-PR, AP801T, AP801B, and HF45 series.

[Longer Lifespan] The carbon filter has a lifespan of 3-6 months, while the KDF filter can last for 6-12 months. We recommend a water pressure of 25-90 psi and a temperature range of 41-100°F.

[Remember to Check the O-Ring] We recommend inspecting and replacing the housing o-rings each time when changing filters to prevent leaks and optimize performance.
