The string wound water filter has a deep graded honeycomb structure, dense near the inside core and more open and sparse near the outside edge, forming an effective depth filtration filter, catching larger particulates first and then smaller near the center core, effectively increasing the dirt holding capacity of the filter.

SWC10B20 string sediment filter reduces sediment, dirt, scale, and rust down to 20 microns from city and well water applications. Used as a prefilter for whole house water filtration systems and various commercial and industrial applications.

The 10 x 4.5 cartridge is made from durable polypropylene cord wound around a rigid polypropylene core.

4.5" OD and an overall length of 10". Fits any standard 10" x 4.5" heavy duty whole house water filter housings and can replace any 10" x 4.5" sediment filter cartridge.
